Teen stabbed during suspected broad daylight robbery

An 18-year-old was taken to hospital with stab injuries following an incident in Pimlico on Sunday afternoon.

It is thought the victim, whose injuries were not believed to be life threatening, was attacked during a robbery, although it has not been confirmed whether the attacker made off with any cash or personal items.

The attack happened at around 3.20pm in upmarket Charlwood Street.

The teenager was taken by the London Ambulance Service to a South London hospital.

Police have confirmed no arrests have been made so far and that enquiries continue. There are appeals for witnesses. Information can be passed on by calling police on 101 or through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
