Police appeal over fatal West Norwood motorbike crash

Officers from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command [RTPC] are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in West Norwood.

Police were called at approximately 1.28pm on Thursday, 6 December to reports of a car in collision with a motorcycle in Beulah Hill, at the junction with Grecian Crescent.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.

The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s next of kin have been notified and a post-mortem is still to take place.

The car stopped at the scene. The male driving the car was not arrested.

Detective Constable Clay O’Neill said: “There are still witnesses who have not come forward that we would very much like to speak to. If you have any piece of information however small, please do contact us.”
