Championship duo reportedly tracking Crystal Palace midfielder

Championship duo Bristol City and Swansea are reportedly keeping tabs on Crystal Palace midfielder Killian Phillips.

Alan Nixon, on his Patreon page, is reporting that the Championship duo are keen on taking Phillips for next season.

Whether the 20-year-old would be available on a permanent transfer is yet to be determined.

However, another loan deal could be an option for the Irish youngster next summer.

Phillips is currently out on loan at Shrewsbury after he joined the League One side in the January transfer window.

Since he arrived at the New Meadow, Phillips has made 12 appearances under Steve Cotterill, scoring twice and recording one assist.

Speaking after Phillips’ debut, the Shrews boss said: “I thought it was an incredible debut by Killian Phillips.

“He was immense in there.

“I just said there after speaking to the boys: ‘What an incredible debut from a young man.’

“The lads gave him a round of applause [in the dressing room] and rightly so.

“He’s another one – for the next few months here – who is going to be all in for us.

“He’s a terrific lad as well. I’m so, so pleased for him.

“He’s only been here for 10 days, and he’s absolutely gutted in there that we have been beaten. He has bought into it already.”
