Easter family fun day planned for Elephant and Castle
A family fun-day with face painting, workshops, performances and food from the local traders and even an appearance from the Easter Bunny will take place this Easter.
The free Bunny Hop Extravaganza will take place on Saturday, April 8 from 11am until 5pm in Castle Square, Elephant and Castle.
Follow the Easter Bunny around Castle Square to take selfies and find yourself some Easter treats.
Those who are able to find the bunny will also receive discount vouchers to redeem from the shops at Castle Square and Ash Avenue, including a variety of sweet and savoury dishes.
For those who want to get creative, throughout the day there will be Easter egg decorating workshops, which can be taken away or given as gifts to family and friends.
Community based group Art in The Park will also be at Castle Square to create a large scale floor-based collage which visitors can also contribute to.
Along with delicious treats and creative workshops, there will be a whole line-up of performances from local groups UpSideDown Dance Academy, School Dance Talentos and the Elephant and Castle Community Choir to celebrate the Easter festivities.
For those who want to indulge in some shopping or have a meal out, visitors can also enjoy an additional 10 per cent off with selected traders at Castle Square and Ash Avenue while the Easter festivities are taking place.
