Reggae legend Barrington Levy heads to London

The reggae legend Barrington Levy is heading to London.

He plays at the O2 Kentish Town on June 22.

Mr Levy has released many albums and scored an almost endless number of hits in his time.

Born in Jamaica in the mid 1960s, he soon went on to shape the evolution of reggae and steer it into sub genres like dancehall, fusion and ragga jungle with his own unique sound.

He has collaborated with a range of artists, achieved international success and been sampled by countless artists in the jungle scene.

He is a characterful stage presence who always gets the crowd on side and the dance floor jumping.
