Millwall v Nottingham Forest line-ups: Lions unchanged for final game of 2018

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Millwall manager Neil Harris has named an unchanged team for today’s home game against Nottingham Forest – the final action of 2018.

The Lions chief also has exactly the same bench options.

Former Millwall striker Lewis Grabban is on the bench for Forest with Daryl Murphy preferred to lead the line.

That is a boost for Millwall with their ex-player banging in 14 goals in 23 appearances this season. Only Brentford’s Neal Maupay (15) has managed more in the division.

Millwall’s last six wins in the Championship have all been at home – the latest a vital 1-0 victory on Boxing Day over a Reading side who finished the contest with nine men.

The Lions have never beaten Forest in the month of December but the visitors have won just one of their last 10 at The Den – drawing four and losing five.

Aitor Karanka’s Forest are unbeaten in nine away league games – but have drawn six of those including an amazing 5-5 at Aston Villa.

Millwall are aiming for successive clean sheets for the first time since April.

Millwall: Archer, Romeo, Hutchinson, Cooper, Meredith, Tunnicliffe, Leonard, J Wallace, Ferguson, Elliott, Gregory. Subs: Amos, Morison, Karacan, O’Brien, M Wallace, Skalak, Brown.

Nottingham Forest: Pantilimon, Fox, Colback, Murphy, Carvalho, Cash, Robinson, Lolley, Yacob, Darikwa, Hefele. Subs: Steele, Guedioura, Grabban, Watson, Osborn, Janko, Appiah.
