Tom Bradshaw enjoying Den – with big haul of his recent Millwall goals coming in SE16

Tom Bradshaw will be aiming to maintain his scoring record at The Den – after the Millwall striker claimed his 15th goal of the campaign on home turf in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Preston North End.

The Wales international headed home Zian Flemming’s cross to put the Lions in front early on.

Seven of Bradshaw’s last eight goals have been netted in SE16.

“Well, we tend to have a little bit more of the ball and probably create a few more chances, on average, at home,” Millwall boss Gary Rowett told the South London Press. “It allows Bradders to stay a little bit higher.

“At times we try and put opposition under pressure and if there is a mistake then Bradders is the sort of striker who is there, ready and waiting.

“We spoke this year about how important his goals have been, along with Zian. We need him to keep firing and hopefully the goals at the weekend (Flemming also scored) gives them the confidence to feel a little bit freer in and around those positions.

“The challenge for us is to keep getting balls in there, keep trying to create chances for them. They have proved they will both score goals, given the opportunity.”
