Millwall set to open contract talks with in-form winger Shane Ferguson

Millwall look set to open contract talks with Shane Ferguson.
The Northern Ireland international struck twice for the Lions in Sunday’s 2-1 FA Cup win over Hull City at The Den.
Ferguson, 27, has been one of the Lions most consistent performers in the past couple of months.
The former Newcastle winger is due to be a free agent at the end of June.
Lions boss Neil Harris said: “It was a tricky one with Shane because he didn’t play a lot of football last season.
“When you get to your last year then unless you are playing regularly, who would want to sign a contract when they might be able to go somewhere else and play.
“Everyone was quite happy to be relaxed and see how that unfolds. In the last three months he has been a regular in the team and played very well.
“We’ll certainly be talking in the coming weeks about the possibility of him extending his stay.
“He has played outstanding football in the last few weeks.
“Shane can play at left-back as well as on the wing and he can be a game-changer at either end of the pitch.”
