Palace boss Roy Hodgson provides Wilfried Zaha and Joachim Andersen fitness updates ahead of West Ham

Roy Hodgson says Wilfried Zaha will be available for Crystal Palace’s clash with West Ham United tomorrow.

The Ivorian winger has been missing since he suffered a groin injury in the 2-1 win against Leicester in Hodgson’s first game in charge.

Zaha, who is out of contract in the summer, is the club’s top goalscorer and appearance holder in Premier League history.

The hammers head to Selhurst Park 15th in the Premier League and five points above the relegation zone.

Palace are eight points above the bottom three but suffered a 2-0 defeat at Wolves on Tuesday night.

“It’s pretty much the same squad as we have had,” said the Palace boss.

“Wilf Zaha has trained a few days this week, so we can add him to the squad, which is good.

“We’re delighted to see him back on the training field doing the sessions and exercises we’ve been doing because, for the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen him running around, trying to bring his fitness up to the level which will enable him to take part in a Premier League match.

“Otherwise, it’s the same group that has been playing these last four or five games.”

Joachim Andersen was forced off at half-time in the defeat to Wolves in midweek. He was replaced by Joel Ward, with Chris Richards moving to centre-back.

“He’s okay,” said Hodgson, who confirmed the former Fulham defender will be in the squad.
