West Ham man gives Charlton Athletic some good news

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Josh Cullen is set to return to action for Charlton before the end of this month.

The midfielder, 22, has been out since the start of November.
The on-loan West Ham man needed surgery on his shoulder after a bad dislocation in a 2-0 win at Walsall.

But Addicks manager Lee Bowyer said: “Josh is only two or three weeks away now – not long.

“He has been running and joining in training – but non-contact. As soon as he gets the go-ahead with the specialist, he is back in.”

Meanwhile, midfielder George Lapslie  (concussion) is back in contention for tomorrow’s trip to Shrewsbury.
