Police make arrests in Clapham stabbing after man taken to hospital
A man was taken to hospital after he was stabbed in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Police were called at around 4.20am to reports of an assault in Clapham High Street.
Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service. A man in his 20’s was found suffering from stab wounds and taken to hospital.
His condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
At around 4.40am, officers stopped a car in Ealing Road, Brentford, after it was linked to the stabbing.
The occupants of the car, two men and a woman, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in custody at a South London police station.
London Assembly member for Lambeth and Southwark, Marina Ahmad tweeted yesterday afternoon: “My thoughts are with the victims and his loved ones.”
