Queer Joy exhibition displayed as part of The Outside Art Project.
Fifty striking portraits are on display across King’s Cross and they all have one thing in common.
The free exhibition that has been launched this summer showcases stunning images of queer people captured by LGBTQ+ photographers in a display of Queer Joy.
Skittles has joined forces with the Gay Times magazine, the Queer Britain museum, and Getty Images to launch an open-air exhibition.
Aiming to shine a light on the unfiltered, queer self-expression, the creators are hoping to show people the real feeling of queer joy.
The portraits will be displayed on the outdoor art benches in Granary Square, Pancras Square and Battlebridge Place as part of The Outside Art Project.
Anthea Harries, asset management director at King’s Cross, said: “It’s brilliant to be a part of such an inspiring exhibition, celebrating the next generation of talented photographers and their vision for expressing Queer Joy.”
