Crystal Palace duo David Ozoh and Marsh came on as substitutes against Norway in the second half as an equaliser from Spurs youngster Rio Kyerematen saw the Three Lions pick up a draw.
Marsh, in his first start for England’s U18 side, scored a brace against Australia on Sunday.
The forward, who won Palace’s u18 Player of the Season, scored his first in the 14th minute and doubled his tally three minutes later to give the Three Lions a 2-0 lead.
Ozoh – Palace’s U21 Player of the Season – also started the game and played 72 minutes.
Esse was subbed off in the 46th minute for Jobe Bellingham as Watford’s Adrian Blake secured the 3-2 win for Neil Ryan’s team in the last minute of the match.
England U18s face three matches this month in Lisbon and will play the hosts Portugal in their final game on Tuesday.
