Fulham keeper completes League One switch

Fulham stopper Taye Ashby-Hammond has joined League One side Stevenage on a permanent transfer.

The 24-year-old has been with the west Londoners since 2008 and made his way through the academy age groups.

Ashby-Hammond spent the start of last season on loan at Steve Evans’ side, making 29 appearances in all competitions before requiring surgery for a cartilage tear that ruled him out for the rest of the season.

He kept 13 clean sheets last season during his time at the Lamex Stadium.

The keeper, who has been capped by England at youth level, has also had loan spells at Maidenhead and Boreham Wood during his career.
