Former QPR loanee looks set for Championship switch

Former QPR loanee Tyler Roberts looks set to join Championship rivals Birmingham City on a permanent transfer.

The Athletic are reporting that Leeds – Roberts’ parent club – have had positive discussions with John Eustace’s side over a deal that includes add-ons.

Wales international Roberts has one year left on his deal at Elland Road, where he has made 108 appearances in all competitions since joining from West Brom in 2020.

Roberts made 20 appearances for QPR last season, scoring four goals during his time at Loftus Road.

He has been capped by Wales 20 times but was not included in Robert Page’s 2022 Qatar World Cup squad.
