Myra DuBois calls out to the disadvantaged, downtrodden and tyrannised of the world, with her manifesto for mental health – AdMyrism!
Comedian and drag star Myra DuBois is bringing her Be Well tour to London after an appearance at the Edinburgh fringe festival.
Ms Dubois will be running a number of 1hr 40mins shows at Sadler’s Wells theatre in Rosebery Avenue, Clerkenwell between September 13 and 16.
The show, Be Well is a sardonic side-eye at the wellness industrial complex and the celebrities at its forefront like Gwyneth Paltrow.
The self-declared siren of South Yorkshire works the room, spares no one from her sharp tongue, and yet somehow keeps everybody on side.
Myra uses her skills as an actress, author, wellness guru and singer to entertain her audience.
Myra DuBois is a stage persona portrayed by Gareth Joyner, a stand-up comedian and drag performer who began performing as Myra DuBois in burlesque clubs and gay bars after moving to London in 2008.
