Red Bull BC One presents 2023 UK street dance championship
The biggest one-on-one street dancing competition is coming.
The global breaking competition will host its UK championship on August 13 at Outernet, a 1,000 capacity entertainment venue in Tottenham Court Road.
The UK championship is broken down into two brackets of Top 16 B-Boy and Top 8 B-Girl battles.
B-Girl Roxy, the 2022 UK champion said: “Red Bull BC One has been a major part of shedding light on breakers and having us be taken seriously.
“Huskies Studios in Elephant and Castle was a pivotal place of growth for the whole street dance scene when I started dancing.
“It was somewhere all styles of hip-hop dancers got together, danced, built connections, and was my introduction into breaking. And there were real huskies, who could ask for more.”
Red Bull BC One will present the UK championship where the country’s Top 16 B-Boy and Top 8 B-Girl commence their battles.
The winning B-boy and B-girl from the event will qualify for the Red Bull BC One World Final.
