Crystal Palace striker makes League One loan switch

Crystal Palace forward Luke Plange has joined League One side Carlise United on a six-month loan deal.

The 20-year-old joined the Eagles from Derby County in January 2022, before being loaned back to the Rams for the rest of the season.

Plange had loan spells at RWD Molenbeek and Lincoln City last season.

He spent pre-season with Palace’s U21 side at the MLS NEXT Pro Invitational tournament.

Carlisle were promoted to League One last season after winning the League Two play-off final. John-Kymani Gordon spent the second half of last season on loan at Brunton Park.
