He plans to go on to study economics at the University of Warwick, part of the Russell Group.

He said: “I’m really happy with my results, I worked really hard to get the grades I needed to get into university.

“I had a great time at DLD, my teachers really helped me to succeed and I’m excited to take the next step.”

Results for art and design at DLD shone with 92 per cent of students achieving grades A* to B, whilst 80 per cent of geography students achieved A* to B and an impressive 100 per cent of further maths students achieved A* to B grades.

BTEC extended diploma students secured equally impressive results with 100 per cent of business students and 100per cent of media students achieving Distinction or Merit grades.

DLD College London principal, Irfan Latif said: “It is an honour to once again celebrate the achievements of our high-performing and diligent students, who are now reaping the benefits of their hard work and determination to excel during their time here at DLD College London.

“We are very proud.”
