Oxford United v Charlton Athletic team line-ups: Dean Holden makes three change as Addicks rely on youth

Dean Holden makes three changes for today’s trip to Oxford United as he looks to try and halt a run of four successive defeats in all competitions.

Goalkeeper Harry Isted and defender Deji Elerewe both make their full league debuts for the club. Lucas Ness returns to the starting line-up with the Addicks boss expected to revert to three at the back.

Chem Campbell, who arrived this week on loan from Wolves, also starts from the bench where he is joined by namesake Tyreece on his return from injury.

Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Michael Hector and Terry Taylor all drop to the bench for the clash at the Kassam Stadium.

Pan Camara is still absent with a foot injury.

The Addicks starting XI have an average age of less than 24 – with five players under the age of 22 in the inexperienced side.

Charlton: Isted, Jones, Ness, Elerewe, Blackett-Taylor, Asiimwe, Dobson, Edun, Anderson, Kanu, May. Subs: Maynard-Brewer, Thomas, Hector, Taylor, Payne, T.Campbell, C.Campbell.
