Summer transfer window signing Kevin Nisbet’s ‘big relief” at first Millwall goal
Kevin Nisbet had praise for strike partner Tom Bradshaw after opening his goal account for Millwall.
The Scottish international, signed from Hibernian this summer, netted in the first-half on Saturday as the Lions defeated Stoke City 1-0.
“I’d not scored in the first three games – it’s a big relief,” Nisbet told Millwall TV. “I can go on a wee run now. But it was all about the three points.
“I think I’ve done okay in the first three games but if you don’t score goals as a striker you start getting criticised. I’ve put one away and it’s the winning goal.
“Bradders is class. He creates so much space for me and Zian (Flemming). He just runs and runs and runs. He drags defences about and that is great for me.”
