AFC Wimbledon boss provides injury update after Stockport defeat

AFC Wimbledon boss Johnnie Jackson has provided an injury update on Jake Reeves and Armani Little after Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at home to Stockport.

Midfielders Little and Reeves have both been missing since they were forced off in the 1-1 draw with Forest Green.

Defender Huseyin Biler has also been sidelined since the start of the season through injury.

“Armani and Reeves are looking at a couple of weeks still,” said Jackson. “Hus will hopefully start training this week but he has missed quite a chunk of football. He will need a couple of weeks of football before we start to involve him.

“Reeves and Little are still looking at a couple of weeks.”

Josh Davison scored his first goal of the season in the League Two defeat to Stockport on Saturday.

The former Charlton forward opened his account in the 32nd minute at Plough Lane when he met James Tilley’s corner and bundled a shot past the Stockport keeper.

It was Davison’s first goal for the Dons since the 2-1 defeat at Doncaster on March 11.

The club’s record signing was making his second League Two start of the season with Ali Al-Hamadi away on international duty.

“I’m pleased for Josh,” said Jackson. “He gives everything every week. In every training session, he’s bang at it and 100 per cent.

“For him to get off the mark, I’m well-pleased.”
