Fulham striker scores international goals to boost confidence ahead of Luton fixture

Fulham will look to their first home win of the Premier League season when they face Luton Town tomorrow – with Raul Jimenez boosting his confidence with a productive international break.

The Whites’ last three-point haul at Craven Cottage was on May 8 – a 5-3 victory over Leicester City.

Fulham have played three of their opening four top-flight fixtures on the road, their only home match a 3-0 derby defeat to Brentford which saw Tim Ream sent off.

Summer signing Jimenez, pictured, scored twice for Mexico as they drew 3-3 with Uzbekistan in a friendly in midweek.

The former Wolves forward also netted for his country in their 2-2 draw with Australia on Sunday.

Jimenez has not scored at club level since January 11 and all three of his goals last season came in the EFL Cup.

His last Premier League goal was on March 22, 2022 – a 4-0 win for Wolves over Watford.
