Police search for man after weapons found

Police have warned the public not to approach a man after weapons were found.

Harry Bukenya, 19, is wanted by police after a number of weapons were found at an address in Camberwell.

Mr Bukenya is believed to have links to the Camberwell, Brixton and Peckham areas, and also to Eastbourne.

Detective Inspector Ed Wilkinson said: “We are appealing for help to trace Mr Bukenya, and we encourage anyone who has seen, or has had recent contact with him to get in touch with us immediately.

“Carrying weapons is a serious offence, and Mr Bukenya should not be approached directly by members of the public.”

A spokesman for the Met said : “Anyone with information should call 101 or ‘X’ at @MetCC with CAD 2894/09Oct.

“You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
