Millwall youngster pens new deal

Millwall young defender Nino Adom-Malaki has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

The left-back played with the first-team over pre-season, scoring in the 6-1 win over Bromley.

Adom-Malaki, 19, is yet to make a senior appearance but has featured several times in the matchday squad.

“It feels good, I’m buzzing,” Adom-Malaki told the club website.

“I couldn’t wait to get it done. Now I’ve just got to keep going and carry on.

“I’ve been taking steps to get closer to the first-team, which is where I want to be. I feel like I’m getting much closer to that now – I’m going to keep pushing in training and if I get my opportunity, take it.

“I’ve loved every single bit of being in and around the first-team. It’s been a great experience for me. 

“I want to be the next up-and-coming academy player to get into the first-team. Hopefully, that will come true.”
