Walworth cruiserweight Riakporhe makes ring return against Bregeon
Walworth cruiserweight Richard Riakporhe is set to face Dylan Bregeon on BOXXER’s November 18 show at The Halls in Wolverhampton.
The 33-year-old South Londoner (16-0, 12KOs) had been mandatory challenger to IBF world champion Jai Opetaia but his camp withdrew from purse bids in the summer.
Australia’s Opetaia had been mandated in June to defend his belt against Riakporhe.
Riakporhe has not fought since a fourth-round stoppage win over Krzystof Glowacki in January.
Bregeon has four losses on his 18-bout record, including losing to points last time out to Brixton’s Isaac Chamberlain.
