Charlton boss confirms injury blow for Miles Leaburn in Cheltenham win
Charlton Athletic boss Michael Appleton confirmed striker Miles Leaburn is set to go for a scan later this week after suffering a hamstring injury in Tuesday night’s 2-1 win at home to Cheltenham Town.
The 20-year-old stretched for the ball and was forced off in the 38th minute, with Manchester City loanee Slobdan Tedic coming on in his place.

Leaburn – who our paper revealed is being tracked by Chelsea and Brentford – has scored three goals and recorded one assist this season in League One.
He missed a handful of games at the start of the season with an ankle injury.
Two penalties from Alfie May saw the Addicks come from behind to claim all three points.
“Yeah it was his hamstring,” confirmed Appleton when asked why Leaburn had to come off early.
“I felt for him because he was playing really well. Not only was his link-up play pretty good and he was a threat in behind, but he also wanted to fight and scrap with Curtis Davies.
“Curtis is a very experienced player and professional – I’ve coached and worked with him at West Brom – and Miles gave him a tough time early on.
“It [the injury] is high up, which is a bit of a worry. It’s normally a bit easier when it’s lower down or on the side, but it’s high up on the inside.
“At the back end of the week, he will have a scan and we will be able to give you a bit more information.”
