Attacker on the loose after man, 27, stabbed in Croydon

An attacker remains at large after a 27-year-old man was stabbed in Croydon, on Friday evening.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS)  at around 6.45pm, to reports of a stabbing in North End, Croydon.

Officers attended and found a man suffering from stab wounds. He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital. 

His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening, the Met said.

There have been no arrests at this stage.

A spokesman from the Met said: “Anyone with information that may assist the investigation or any witnesses yet to speak with police are asked to call 101 or post @MetCC on X, quoting ref 6168/08Dec. 

“To remain anonymous call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or visit the crimestoppers-uk.org website.”
