E-fit of rape suspect released after woman, 60, attacked

The Met have released an e-fit image of a rape suspect after a woman was attacked in October last year.

An investigation was launched after the woman – in her 60s – reported being raped by a man at a flat in Mitcham.

The incident happened at around 11.30am on October 11,  2023.

Police officers are providing support to the woman.

As part of their investigation, officers are now releasing a computer-generated image of the suspect.

A spokeswoman for the Met said: “Anyone who recognises the man is asked to email P233925@met.police.uk, call 101 quoting reference CAD 3613/11Oct23, or information can also be shared online.

“To remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
