Millwall manager Neil Harris has got zero focus on Brighton FA Cup tie as he focuses purely on Birmingham City

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Neil Harris has been left “hugely disappointed” by Millwall’s recent form – and that is ensuring that Sunday’s FA Cup tie against Brighton and Hove Albion is low on his priority list.

The Lions lost 2-1 to drop rivals Bolton Wanderers on Saturday – a fourth straight reverse in the Championship.

The South Londoners are just a point and a place above the bottom three and have more league commitments, at Birmingham City on Wednesday, before they host Premier League opposition in the last eight at The Den.

Asked about facing Brighton – who beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park on Saturday – Harris replied: “Yeah, well not fussed. The cup game is going to be a good occasion at The Den. It will be exciting for the fans, but the priority is the league.

“All I am focusing on is Birmingham on Wednesday.

“It is a huge game for us.

“It is four defeats in a row. I am hugely disappointed in the results and the performances.

“I have now got to pick a team on Wednesday that is capable of going and competing against a very good, physical Birmingham side.”
