Glenn Murray is set to give his Brighton team-mates the lowdown on playing at The Den – admitting that Millwall fans will create a fearsome atmosphere.

The 35-year-old frontman played in both matches against the Lions in Crystal Palace’s Championship promotion-winning season in 2012-13.

The Eagles ground their way to a 0-0 draw in SE16 in their penultimate league match as they edged their way to securing a play-off spot.

Murray has 13 goals in 31 appearances for Brighton this season. His superb first-half strike in Saturday’s win over Palace was his 100th league goal for Albion.

Asked about being ready for a trip to The Den, Murray admitted some of Chris Hughton’s squad would not know what to expect.

He added: “We will sit them down and give them the heads up. They’ve probably never been anywhere like that before.

“But there’s nowhere more difficult than this [Selhurst Park]. When they got the equaliser this afternoon and their fans were behind them, there’s no more difficult place.

“It will be similar to that. It’s almost a cup final for both clubs with the chance of a day out at Wembley, so we know what to expect.”

Brighton defender Lewis Dunk said: “That’s [the FA Cup] our focus now. We can do special things. We can get to Wembley for the semi-finals and you never know what might happen.”
