Charlton confirm interim appointment of Fleming and Pearce
Charlton Athletic have announced Curtis Fleming and Jason Pearce will take interim charge of the team following the sacking of Micahel Appleton.
Ex-Lincoln boss Appleton was relieved of his duties following Tuesday night’s 3-2 defeat at home to Northampton.
The Addicks are searching for their third permanent manager of the season, with Dean Holden losing his job early on in the campaign.
Fleming was appointed as Appleton’s assistant manager on January 12.
Richard O’Donnell, who was brought in by Appleton, has also been sacked.
Charlton head to Blackpool this weekend.
Senior professional development phase lead coach Pearce took charge of the side when Holden was sacked earlier in the season.
