Bowling alley plan for Greenwich pub

Plans have been revealed to add a bowling alley to the back of a Greenwich pub.Â
Greenwich council has received an application for Davy and Co Limited to add the bowling alley to the pub in Greenwich High Road.
Planning documents from First Plan, on behalf of Davy’s, said the pub wanted to convert the office space in its rear building, which backs on to the railway tracks at Greenwich railway station.Â
The building previously served as a storage facility until being converted into offices in 1986.
The bowling alley would have six lanes and a kitchen with a bar to serve food and drinks to customers in a lounge area.Â
The space is expected to have room for 100 people, including staff. Other changes to the building include adding an additional corridor leading to the main staircase on the ground floor and adding a lift.
Greenwich council officers have until March 27 to process the application.
Davy’s was approached for comment but had not responded at the time of publication.
