Man in 40s is taken to hospital after broad daylight stabbing

A man in his 40s remains in hospital after he was stabbed in broad daylight on Saturday afternoon.

Police were called at around 1pm to reports of a stabbing at the junction of St John’s Hill and Falcon Road, in Wandsworth. 

The victim, a man in his 40s, was taken to a South London hospital where his condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.

Police made an arrest at the scene of the stabbing. The Met said “no further suspects are currently being sought”.

A spokesman for the Met said: “If you witnessed this incident, please call us on 101, quoting reference CAD 3304/24Feb. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on  0800 555 111.”
