Milton Jones brings his brilliantly sharp mind and comedy to Croydon

Today  Milton Jones announced his brand-new tour, Ha Milton, for 2024.

The king of the one-liner, famous for his Hawaiian shirts and eccentric hairstyles, Milton Jones will kick off his new tour in September, landing in Croydon’s Ashcroft Theatre, in Fairfield Halls, on October 25.

But don’t let the show title fool you. This is not a musical, Milton says, describing himself as “tone deaf with no sense of rhythm”.

Instead, the title speaks to the word and mind play which pervades Milton’s shows.

Far from his slightly disheveled appearance – Milton’s stand up is a mind bending experience as he twists and breaks down speech to reveal the infinite flexibility of English language. Nothing is as it seems in Milton’s comedy.

In his previous tour Milton Impossible, he switched seamlessly into different characters plucked from his whirlwind imagination, transforming from undercover agent to decrepit grandad on a zoom call.

This year, with Ha Milton, he has promised  to cover “important topics” including giraffes and tomatoes.

The comic is a favourite on BBC2’s Mock The Week and Live at the Apollo and frequently sells out venues up and down the UK.
