Positive striker injury news for Millwall – Neil Harris ‘a lot more confident’ that player will return this season
Millwall head coach Neil Harris is “a lot more confident” that Tom Bradsaw will be able to play some part in the club’s Championship run-in after positive scan results this week.
Both Bradshaw and fellow striker Kevin Nisbet had fresh scans to provide a little extra detail on their return to action.
Harris had not received the update on Nisbet before he spoke to the South London Press on Wednesday afternoon.
He told our paper: “Bradders has come out of his protective boot and is hopefully going to be back on the grass with the medical team next week.
“No definitive return to playing date for Tom Bradshaw, but we are a lot more confident he will return in the coming weeks, rather than next season.
“We’re hoping to see Tom Bradshaw back on the pitch this season.”
Bradshaw has been sidelined with an achilles injury since the back end of February.
The Wales international has scored four goals in 31 appearances for the Lions this season.
