Oliver Glasner provides Crystal Palace injury news ahead of West Ham – Key player ruled out with hamstring issue

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has confirmed Crystal Palace will be without Jefferson Lerma for Sunday’s Premier League clash at home to West Ham.

The 29-year-old has featured 30 times in all competitions since joining from Bournemouth on a free transfer last summer.

He has played in a back three under Glasner in the last three outings due to Chris Richards and Marc Guehi both being sidelined.

The Eagles host the Hammers on Sunday and are looking to get back-to-back wins under the Austrian boss for the first time since he replaced Roy Hodgson.

Rob Holding will return to the matchday squad for the first time since having surgery on an ankle injury he suffered before the turn of the year.

Glasner said: “We have one new player injured from Liverpool – it’s Jefferson Lerma.

“He will be out until at least Manchester United.

“I’m pleased Rob Holding is back. He trained the whole week with us and he will be in the squad.

“We have three question marks. It was the first time Chris Richards trained with us today, but it was a very easy session.

“Joel Ward has had issues this week with his groin. Will Hughes got a knock yesterday in training.

“We will take the final decision tomorrow with these three players.”
