Crystal Palace forward – who had AFC Wimbledon loan spell – to leave this summer

John-Kymani Gordon will be leaving Crystal Palace this summer, the South London Press understands.

The 21-year-old’s 13-year association with the Eagles will come to an end and he will walk away as a free agent.

Gordon signed his first professional deal at Selhurst Park in 2020 and featured in 12 senior matchday squads.

The forward spent time on loan at Carlisle United for the second half of the 2022-23 campaign and helped Paul Simpson’s side win promotion to League One, starting the play-off final win at Wembley over Stockport.

Gordon spent the first half of this season with League One side Cambridge but was recalled by Palace in January and was sent out to AFC Wimbledon for the second half of the campaign.

The Croydon-born attacker played up front and on the wing for Johnnie Jackson’s side, turning out 18 times in League Two and scoring in the 1-1 draw at Crewe.
