Greenwich heavyweight Daniel Dubois signs up with international management company

Greenwich heavyweight Daniel Dubois has appointed NVA Sports & Entertainment Group (NVA SEG) to manage his commercial profile as he heads into the crucial next stage of his career.

Ahead of his huge fight against Filip Hrgovic in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, the 26-year-old has joined the likes of Liverpool’s Luis Diaz by enlisting the support of NVA SEG to represent him commercially.

Since turning professional as a 19-year-old, Dubois has established himself as one of the most exciting names in the elite heavyweight division – becoming WBA heavyweight champion in 2022 with victory over Trevor Bryan in Miami.

The Londoner suffered a setback in early 2023 against the now unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, but fought back with a statement performance at the end of the year – stopping the previously undefeated Jarrell Miller in the 10th round to put himself back in world championship contention.

NVA SEG is led by long-established agent Chris Nathaniel. Although based in London, the agency works across the globe with the biggest names in sport, music, fashion, film and politics.

Dubois said: “I have spoken with Chris and the team at NVA SEG for some time and I knew straight away they were the right people to help me take this next step. I have huge ambitions for the coming years and to achieve all of that I need the best people supporting me in every area. I believe Chris and the team are exactly that, so I am excited to get started and see what we can achieve together.”

Nathaniel added: “I strongly believe Daniel is exactly what boxing, and in particular the ageing heavyweight division, needs right now. He’s followed the right path and is ready to make massive moves in the sport.

“We share similar family and community values, so I am proud to welcome him to the NVA SEG family. I look forward to working with Daniel to bring his vision to life and ensure his impact is felt in the boxing world and beyond.”
