The tournament, which was held at Norman Park Athletics Track in Bromley, included seven track events and three field events. 200 students from 15 primary schools participated as part of the trust’s initiative to increase sports opportunities for its students.

Lee Mason-Ellis, chief executive at The Pioneer Academy Trust, said: “The children gain so much from these trust-wide sports tournaments and the chance to work together as a team and build new and positive relationships.

“At The Pioneer Academy, we have prioritised increasing the sporting opportunities on offer for the children.”
