Murder charges levied against three more in Janayo Lucima case

Three more people have been charged in connection with the murder of Janayo Lucima in west London.

Janayo was fatally shot in Comeragh Road, West Kensington at around 10.15pm on Monday, April 1.

A 16-year-old male was extradited from Spain. He arrived in the UK on Friday, June 7.

Issa Siteri, 18, from West Brompton, returned voluntarily to the UK from Morocco on June 8.

Yusuf Muhudin Abdi, 18, from Westminster, returned to the UK voluntarily from Morocco on June 8.

All three were charged with murder.

All three suspects appeared in custody at the Central Criminal Court on Tuesday, where they were remanded in custody to appear at the same court on Wednesday, June 26.

Five other people have been charged in connection with this murder. They are Khuedr Al-Kurdi, 21, of Fulham Palace Road, Hammersmith, Muktar Said, 22, from West Kensington and three teenagers, two aged 17 and one 16, who cannot be named for legal reasons.

Those five have all been remanded in custody to appear at the Central Criminal Court for a trial in February 2025.
