Charlton and Bromley to face off in EFL Trophy Group Stage

Charlton and Bromley will face off against each other in the 2024-25 EFL Trophy.

The Addicks and the Ravens have been drawn in the Southern Section Group C alongside League One side Cambridge United.

Charlton finished second in Group J last season, progressing through to the second round against Reading, but were knocked out on penalties.

This is the first time Bromley will be playing in the competition after winning promotion to the EFL for the first time in their 132-year history following their National League play-off final win over Solihull Moors last season.

One of the U21 Premier League teams will complete Group C, with Arsenal, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United finding out which group they will be included in live on Sky Sports News on Thursday.
