Millwall re-sign experienced defender Shaun Hutchinson on one-year deal

Millwall have announced that they have re-signed Shaun Hutchinson on a one-year deal at The Den.

The centre-back made 257 appearances for the Lions after signing from Fulham in 2014.

However, the Lions confirmed at the end of last season that the 33-year-old was departing at the end of his contract.

Hutchinson, who takes the club captaincy role once again for 2024-25, will join up with his team-mates at Calmont Road before jetting off to the pre-season training camp in Spain this weekend.

He joins Japhet Tanganga, Wes Harding and Jake Cooper in bolstering Neil Harris’ defensive department ahead of the new campaign.
