Crystal Palace close on deal for Arsenal forward – with possible exit for former Celtic striker

Crystal Palace are closing on a deal for Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah.

The 25-year-old’s move to Nottingham Forest has collapsed and the Eagles have swooped in a move to sign the striker.

Lewisham-born former England U21 captain Nketiah is now closing in on a move back to South London.

Nketiah has scored 38 goals in 168 appearances for Arsenal after progressing through their academy.

He has also had a loan spell at Leeds in the Championship during his senior career.

Nketiah’s expected arrival could open the door for Odsonne Edouard to leave in the final week of the window.

The former Celtic man has interest from Italy.
