AFC Wimbledon boss Johnnie Jackson nominated for August Manager of the Month
AFC Wimbledon boss Johnnie Jackson has been nominated for League Two’s August Manager of the Month.
Jackson has seen his Dons squad pick up nine points from their opening four matches, with the 2-0 defeat at Bromley the only loss so far.
The Dons have seen off Colchester, Cheltenham and Fleetwood in the opening four games.
Wimbledon are in their third season now under the former Charlton manager, who has taken charge of the Plough Lane-based side 119 times.
Jackson is up against Gillingham’s Mark Bonner, Barrow’s Stephen Clemence and Walsall’s Matt Sadler.
