NSPCC take over Battersea Power Station ice rink for an exclusive evening of fun

Kick off the festive season with an exclusive ice skating event in aid of the NSPCC.

You may think you have exhausted London’s ice skating rinks which pop-up throughout the winter months, but this spot might just be the coolest.

Set against a backdrop of one of London’s most iconic buildings, Glide, at the rejuvenated Battersea Power Station, offers unrivalled views of the Thames as you skate around three interconnecting ice rinks surrounded by twinkling lights and a spectacular 30ft Christmas tree.

For one evening only, on November 11, the venue will be taken over exclusively by the NSPCC from 7pm until 10pm.

Guests will be offered three hours of skating – compared to the usual 45 minute session – with all funds raised from ticket sales going to support the charity’s work for children across the UK. 

If you do not feel up to ice skating you are also welcome to take a seat at the Glass House Bar. Entrance to the Bar is free and does not require an ice skating ticket.

UK weather can be changeable – with probably an unusual amount of rain, but the Ice Rink is prepared for all weather conditions, and wet ice is safe to skate on.
