Attacking duo face late fitness call – Leeds boss provides injury update ahead of Millwall clash

Leeds boss Daniel Farke faces a late fitness call on attacking duo Patrick Bamford and Joe Gelhardt ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Millwall.

The Whites beat Plymouth 3–0 on Saturday, with both being absent from the matchday squad.

Joel Piroe started up front for the former Norwich boss, with Wilfried Gnoto and Dan James on the wings.

Ex-Crystal Palace striker Bamford has only made five appearances in the Championship so far this season, with all of his minutes coming off the bench.

“There are no new injury concerns,” said Farke in his pre-match press conference.

“All the players who were involved in the last game are also involved in the game against Millwall.

“There are some late decisions with Patrick Bamford and Joe Gelhardt.

“We will have a final session on Tuesday afternoon. Both will try and train this afternoon.

“If they come through, we will take the decision with the squad.”
