Millwall are staying up after Rotherham United’s defeat at West Bromwich Albion

BY RICHARD CAWLEY

Millwall’s Championship status for the 2019-20 season is assured after Rotherham United’s defeat at West Bromwich Albion today.

The Lions were unable to put the issue to bed in their 1.30pm kick-off against Stoke City as they drew 0-0 at The Den.

But Rotherham still had to win at Albion to keep alive their hopes of overhauling the SE16 outfit.

The Millers took the lead at The Hawthorns through Clark Robertson but West Brom fought back with goals from Jay Rodriguez and Rekeem Harper to secure a 2-1 win.
