Crystal Palace tracking Slavia Prague prospect

Crystal Palace could be set to make an early breakthrough in the January transfer window with Slavia Prague’s El Hadji Malick Diouf on their list of potential targets.

The 19-year-old Senegalese player plays down the left and can operate both in a defensive or offensive role.

Diouf has been capped by his country.

He was playing back in his native country before signing for Norwegian side Tromso in February 2023 after impressing on trial.

He made the move to Slavia Prague in the January 2024 transfer window, signing a four-and-half-year contract.

Diouf has scored six goals and collected three assists in the Chance Liga and also played for Slavia in their Champions League qualifiers as well as the Europa League.

Palace, Forest and Brentford have all been linked with the teenager, who turns 20 on December 28.

The Mirror reported recently that Slavia will demand a Czech-record fee for Diouf which would easily be in excess of £10million.
