Gillingham register loan interest in Crystal Palace winger

The 19-year-old made his Premier League debut earlier this season against Nottingham Forest in a 1-0 defeat in October. He made one further appearance the following month and has featured on the bench in nine other matches.
With Oliver Glasner’s Eagles returning to good health and expecting to add to its attacking areas, the winger is a prime candidate for loan experience away from the club at this key stage in his development.
The Gills are 13th in League Two following a 1-0 loss to AFC Wimbledon on Monday night, which featured fellow Palace loanee Owen Goodman in goal.
Former Cambridge United manager Mark Bonner took over at the Kent club in May and will be looking to boost their goal threat in January, with his team having scored just 22 goals from their opening 22 matches.
A dynamic dribbler, Agbinone has had limited game time in the Eagles’ U21 squad due to his time training with the senior team. He has scored twice in four appearances in PL2 and played against two EFL opposition teams in the EFL Trophy, which included a 3-1 victory over Gillingham in November.
With the transfer window only opening tomorrow, the club and player will likely be patient in weighing their options, with further EFL interest expected for their attacker.
